These particular pieces of Orchard's history don't really fit into a certain category. From "Nerd International Day" to interviews with former students and staff members, this section shows a wide variety of Orchard's past.

Courtyard
One of Orchard's most unique features is the courtyard right in the middle of the school. In the middle of the courtyard is a circular cement platform that rises up about two feet. Surrounding the courtyard halfway are large cement risers that the students used to sit on during the assemblies formerly held in the courtyard. Also the students running for office used to give their ASB speeches on the stage. Now the speeches are shown in every classroom on a TV screen. Today the courtyard is mainly used for students to play four square or super square after lunch.

The Orchard Circus
Something special that only Orchard had was the Orchard circus. This took place in the courtyard and people from Wenatchee could come and watch the Orchard performers. Trained animals such as bears, elephants, and even a goat were there to provide entertainment. The band also provided music. The students dressed up as clowns. The money raised from the circus went to the student body. The second annual circus took place in 1970.
