Upcoming Events 

Monday, Nov. 16th - Do you like banging on drums or playing percussion instruments? Join us after school for a Drum Demonstration given by the well known Wenatchee Drummer Lance Leming from Avalon Music. Only 20 Dog Yard students will be allowed to attend. You will need to sign up in the Dog Yard for it on the day he is coming - November 16th.

Tuesday, Nov. 17th - We will be taking a field trip after school to find out about life as a ambulance driver and EMT. Come tour Lifeline Ambulance, get in the ambulance, and learn about life as an Emergency Medical Technician. See Michelle in GEAR Up office for the permission form.  

Wednesday, Dec. 2nd - If you are interested in a career in Law Enforcement or Emergency Services, come with us on a field trip downtown to The Rivercom 911 Center and the Wenatchee Police Department. We took a group last week and the students had a blast and got lots of cool free stuff. There are 8 spots left, so sign up quickly! See Michelle in the GEAR UP office for the permission form.
 
Various dates - Hey students - would you like to make an easy sewing project for a gift or for yourself? Michelle will be taking 6 students at a time on four different dates to the Attic Window Quilt Shop to make little purses or cell phone bags. They are really cute and fun to make. Cost is free - see Michelle in the GEAR Up office to see an example, sign up for a date and get a permission form!
